Case: The Brentwood Salon

The client:
Brentwood Salon was a high-end salon in Barrie, Ontario, run by two exceptionally talented stylists.
What we found:
Walking in, the salon's visual identity hadn't been touched in well over a decade. The space was clean and well kept, but everything from the signage to the price lists said 1980s. The owners had also noticed a gradual decline in foot traffic and wanted to understand why. The brand didn't just need a refresh; it needed to re-introduce the salon to the community.
What we did:
- A complete brand identity, applied across storefront signage, business cards, price lists, and every piece of in-salon collateral
- A new website, with original photography of the space and the team
- A social media photography and messaging program built around fresh, welcoming content
- Implementation of MindBody salon management software for online booking, bringing them level with competitors who were already there
- An interior refresh: the beige back wall became a bold black feature wall with a fabricated brushed-metal logo, tying the space to the storefront and the rest of the brand
The result:
One cohesive, modern identity across every touchpoint, from the sidewalk to the booking confirmation. The new website and content program took Brentwood from a buried Google result to the first page for local salon searches, and online booking through MindBody put them on equal footing with their competitors. Most importantly, a renewed public face brought new attention and welcomed returning clients back through the door.
